DPA is thrilled to host Banaam to facilitate this workshop. Banaam are leaders and innovators in the area of Cultural Intelligence. You can read more about Banaam here.
About the workshop: Indigenous culture recognises the primary importance of relationships and offering every individual a sense of their relationship to community and country. These fundamental principles are dynamically taught in this immersive training experience. The Banaam team deliver unique and highly practical information to build a foundation of knowledge and skills essential to developing advanced cultural intelligence, cross-cultural competence and community engagement. Banaam training provides a lens through which to view all relationships within the cultural framework, enhancing engagement between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and the broader Australian community.
Registration: free to attend but critical to secure your spot by registering here. This workshop has been offered to DPA members first - a very limited number of places remain. A waitlist will be available if/when the event is full to ensure we can offer any additional places which may become available.
If you register then find you're no longer able to attend, please release your spot by 'refunding' your registration through Eventbrite. We are keen to show our respect and thanks to Banaam with a full house.
A big thanks to our Corporate Supporters, Brisbane City Council for hosting us and making this event possible. Banaam are generously sharing their experience to give Brisbane practitioners and change-makers the opportunity to experience and learn from this workshop.
